Receive Weekly News of the Winter habitat and share with students. Setup Wikispaces for students to use later.
March - April
Receive Weekly News of Migration - start mapping the migration
Middle April
Receive butterflies and start journaling. Answer challenge questions. Prepare their food source for the butterflies. Learn about life cycle and observe their cycle. Learn their basic needs. Some of the skills we will use are observing, describing, recording, predicting, and comparing. Pictures and videos will be taken of observations.
April - May
Observe and be prepare to report your observation. Update the wikis. Keep checking the weekly news. Prepare for the release of the butterflies.
